P7 explored angles in nature and in the man-made environment. The class loved hunting for sticks that represented different types of angle and where able to apply vocabulary learnt. They noticed that many trees had repeating patterns of angles, which led to a rich conversation about fractals and repeating patterns in nature. During a follow up session the class looked at angles in man-made environment and started to find missing angles in shapes. They created their own pictures to represent types of angles and presented them to each other.
