Primary 2 at Brustane primary took part in an active team building session where they used the Chinese Zodiac Story as inspiration for their problem-solving relays. Pupils were able to recreate the story and discovered how different animals used different tactics to cross the river. Good discussions were had over fairness of some of the tactics employed by the animals and decisions were made as to whether they would allow that in their races. The children used loose parts to help them test out ideas and had to work together to get across the river safely without being swept away!
