Measure - Stick Man

We read Stick Man and used this as inspiration to do activities and practise our measuring skills..

DESCRIPTION

We read Stick Man and his family and measured each member with rulers. Then we received a letter from Stick Man who had decided to move to our school but needs a thick tree. We decided to go out and measure around trees with string to find the thickest and measured our string with tape measures and metre sticks. Finally, Stick Man needed us to gather the materials for his furniture that had specific measurements.
